Most of the rules mentioned under step 11 (using the Appeal/Higher Courts) that are applicable to appeals in the County Court and the High Court are also applicable to the Court of Appeals but with a few exceptions.
From which court can I appeal to the Court of Appeals
Generally, you can only appeal to the Court of Appeals if you are appealing a decision of the High Court.
However, there are exceptions. Where the relevant court considers that:
an appeal which is to be heard by the County Court or the High Court would raise an important point of principle or practice; or
there is some other compelling reason for the Court of Appeal to hear it.
